Tara Burnett
Tara Burnett is currently pursuing a Master of Music Degree in Flute Performance
at the University of Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor of Music at Oklahoma State University in Flute Performance. Her teachers include Valerie Watts, Conor Nelson, Karla Ordonez, and Donna Shin.Tara holds the Graduate Flute Assistantship at the University of Oklahoma. She teaches the freshman flute majors, as well as, all of the non-majors. She is also the Director of the University of Oklahoma Flute Ensemble. Tara has performed multiple solo and chamber recitals, and also has been a part of many ensembles that have performed throughout the country and the world, including the All-Japan Clinic in Hamamatsu, Japan with the Oklahoma State University Wind Ensemble.
