Steven Eiler

Steven Eiler is a song compositor from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is cultivating the

craft of the concept album. “Folk-Rock Opera” being a presently embarrassing medium
to work in, he hopes one day to flood the market with these thematically unified song
cycles so that their public perception is reduced to a level of innocuous ordinariness. He
has either completed or composed movements of at least seven of these works to date. He
hasn’t recorded a note of them. In his living room he regularly puts on a show called
“Endless Senseless Medley” for his neighbors across the wall. It is an improvised
reimagining of themes from his albums, rendered on the piano with the soft pedal and
sustain pedal pressed firmly to the floor.
