Hi All,
A big thanks to all who came to the house concert & art exhibit at Mission Hill on Saturday. We never anticipated such a large crowd, and we were so pleased.
You were a terrific audience and we enjoyed your enthusiasm and warmth! You are now on our official Arabesque email list, and the Mission Hill email list.

A lovely evening! Miranda, you are so talented. And I love the red outfit. Played your CD this morning and do enjoy it.
Mission Hill is perfect for concerts of that size and an interesting way to display art. The acoustics there are so much better than The Depot and other locations. As usual, you were a great hostess, too. Your background is fascinating. I had no idea you had covered so much ground in your short life. Willow must be very proud of her mother.

Workshop Description:
I have come to believe that we are born with an innate design for our lives, but through complex life experiences, we can easily become lost to our own internal compass. This lostness can result in a chronic loss of passion and confusion in our personal lives. This 2-hour interactive workshop will help in realigning your life's path as we begin the process of rediscovering your personal inner compass. We will be using techniques I have used in my own life and written about in my book, "By Design - A Guide to Awakening the Authentic Self". This book explores what our dreams and goals are and compares those to where we are in our individual lives. Although my teaching style is encouraging, the nature of this course is serious - this affects our lives after all! - but I do conduct my classes with a balance of positive optimism and practicality.

Asia Scudder, author, uses her Master’s research and her personal experience to build a model which helps the participant determine which areas of their lives may be blocked by fear, judgment, denial, loss or pain and shows how we can become connected to our deeper, truer self to realize our authentic self- expression. When our true self is expressed we realize joy which can then be experienced in abundance.

I enjoyed your beautiful home while I attended Asia's class. It was a wonderful class. Asia did a marvelous job explaining her philosophy and addressing each individuals needs in the class. I hope to attend another one soon and look forward to reading her book.
