Cynthia Vliet

Cynthia Vliet  is a Norman native, a graduate of Norman High School and holds a BFA in Technical Theatre, Production and Design from the University of Oklahoma. After a 24-year career in local and regional theatres, culminating in a 10-year Artist in Residence position with the off-Broadway Oasis Theatre Company, Cynthia returned home to Norman. She currently exercises her design muscles by designing and creating custom-made furnishings, woodturnings, sterling silver jewelry, leaded glass panels and hand-carved stone sculptures. While Cynthia refuses to consider herself an “artist”, her work speaks for itself.
