Bill Boettcher

Bill Boettcher has an Associate of Art degree from Tulsa Community College and a B.F.A. from the University of Oklahoma. He has participated in group shows at the Firehouse Art Center, MAINSITE Contemporary Art gallery and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition's Vision Makers exhibition. Boettcher has studied sculpture with Jonathan Hils at the University of Oklahoma, Jesús Moroles at the Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute, and Myles Schachter at his workshops in Lawrence, Kansas. Boettcher has created over 20 chainsaw tree sculptures in the Norman area. He currently teaches an alabaster class for the Norman Firehouse Art Center.
