Daniel Alan West

I have been drawing since childhood with natural talent from my father who was a sketch artist and cartoonist.
“Self Awareness” in art stems from my Grandmother’s Uncle, Robert L. Ripley of “Ripley’s believe it or not.”
I worked in pencil/charcoal through the early seventies, along with pen & ink, color pencil, acrylics.
1975: I started working at Hendrix glass studio making leaded, cast, and sand blast relief windows.
1980: I completed a series of endangered animals in pencil, used in an Endangered Species Act calendar.
1997: I wrote and illustrated the children’s book “The Adventures of Green Frog and Red Fox”
2000: I started making veneer panels, designing and building wood sculptures, and custom furniture.
2005: I started computer drawing and printing erotic art.
